TERMS  CONDITIONS  & WARRANTY

Sales of equipment – PA devices are not included in the RCQ warranty nor are Firmware upgrades when completed by the purchaser.RCQ does not upgrade Firmware.RCQ reserves the right to deduct 1/2 hours inspection charge for items returned under warranty.

RCQ does not buy any equipment that is smoke or pet contaminated.

Prices quoted by RCQ are based on cosmetically good condition – with the addition of some age related marks and scratches.

The equipment must be fully working and be FREE of any faults –

If you do not describe accurately the equipment will be revalued – based on RCQ testing and a service report will be raised.

At this stage you have two choices – either accept the new valuation or have the equipment sent back.

If the equipment is SMOKE contaminated or has any RUST and you have not disclosed this material fact your equipment will be returned after you have paid the collection and return carriage plus £30 plus VAT handling charge. If the equipment is dirty – less 15% from the original quotation.

Payment will be made within 7 days after receipt of equipment, allowing time for equipment to be inspected and checked.

By instructing RCQ to collect your equipment you are agreeing to the above terms and conditions.

CARRIAGE

RCQ arranges collection by the courier, there is a £10 per box charge  –, RCQ will need weight and sizes to allow labels to be emailed.  – additional boxes are charged at £10 per box to be deducted from any payment to you.

It is your responsibility to pack your equipment with suitable boxes and packing materials so that the items arrive safely and in good condition.

The courier companies’ use automated sorting and boxes are subject to rough treatment.

Prepaid labels will be sent via email to you, either by RCQ or direct from the carrier – you are required to print these labels and sellotape to the parcels.

Do not allow any parcels to be collected without having the correct labels attached – if you do – it’s your loss – If you drop off at any Post Office you must get the parcel scanned and obtain a printed receipt as proof of posting.

INSURANCE

RCQ does not cover the payment of Insurance on collections – if you wish your equipment to be insured – please inform RCQ – the cost of insurance will be deducted from the payment to you.

PAYMENT

The agreed payment (less any deductions) will be sent via Bank Transfer upon receipt and testing of the equipment – please email RCQ your Sort Code and Account Number, RCQ can pay by cheque and there is a Bank Charge for this of £1.00 plus postage which will be deducted from the payment to you.

HOME MADE EQUIPMENT

RCQ cannot resell homemade equipment, RCQ can redistribute homemade equipment to local clubs for members who do not have the resources to purchase new or for experimentation whilst under instruction.

DECEASED EFFECTS

RCQ will liaise will Solicitors and Executors to enable the smooth disposal of equipment. In cases where large quantities of equipment are on offer – RCQ will dismantle and remove already agreed items – there is a fee for this at £250 per collection plus 0.50p per mile travel.

RCQ 3 MONTH WARRANTY

Without prejudice to the rights of the buyer’s acceptance of this warranty – this does not affect your statutory rights.

RCQ warranty is not transferable.

RCQ DOES NOT warranty – used batteries – User misuse – whole PA stages output transistor and drivers – cross polarity or any damage caused by operator error – incorrect installation of firmware updates – corrosion – natural disaster unauthorised installation – improper use – damage caused by being dropped, water ingress – hit by a foreign object – RF damage to CPU – antenna tuning unit where fitted and surrounding components – damage caused by external equipment plugged into the product, transverters, microphones, external antenna tuners, and PC’s towers and laptops, iPad, etc – lightning – electrical static – RF

Transceivers will have a security seal attached – the warranty is void if the seal is removed or in any way tampered with – if an item is returned for repair RCQ will seek an independent repair report – buyers are responsibly for payment of the return postage –

In cases where the purchaser claims there is a fault – if the item after inspection is 100%, all costs of shipping together with an independent report will be paid by the purchaser. The item will not be returned until the payment of carriage and report is paid. If no payment is made RCQ reserves the right to sell the equipment to cover the inspection and postage costs and any balance returned to the purchaser.
